During the COVID-19 pandemic, Samatech Foundation swiftly transformed into a humanitarian relief force with a program titled "FROMU2THEM", focusing on two critical areas: food distribution and medical aid. In the initial phase, we provided over 4.5 million meals to families struggling with hunger by raising around .

As the crisis deepened, we mobilized resources to deliver ₹4 crore ($500,000 USD) worth of life-saving medical supplies to hospitals and frontline workers. Our Meal Kit Program

Our food donation program directly tackled hunger at the impact level, providing meal kits to sustain families facing starvation across Mumbai. Through location-specific aid, donors could direct their contributions based on real-time data, ensuring targeted and effective relief. Collaborating with the BMC and grassroots volunteers, we reached even the most affected and inaccessible areas.

Our food supply, sourced from farmers' cooperatives disrupted by lockdowns, was carefully quality-checked, packaged, and distributed in partnership with the International Association of Human Values. Each kit contained essential staples—pulses, oil, rice, spices, and tea—designed to feed a family of four for 14 days. We also recognized our donors' contributions by providing visibility at food distribution points, reinforcing the collective spirit of giving

Every Meal Counted, Every Life Mattered

Every meal we handed out, every smile we saw, every tear we wiped, filled us with love and gave us back much more than we every gave!

Our Medical Program

During the peak of the COVID-19 crisis, our oxygen relief program addressed one of the most critical shortages—medical oxygen. With hospitals overwhelmed and supplies running dangerously low, we mobilized resources to procure and distribute 500 oxygen concentrators across Delhi and Mumbai.

By working closely with district collectors, public hospitals, and COVID centers, we ensured that life-saving oxygen reached those in urgent need. Partnering with international suppliers and logistics networks, we sourced high-quality equipment and transported it efficiently despite global shortages. Transparency and accountability remained at the core of our efforts, ensuring that aid reached the most vulnerable communities, helping to save countless lives during India's toughest days.
